“SysArc’s helpdesk is extremely responsive and its remote capabilities have made the troubleshooting process easier and more efficient for all parties.”
Problem
Public Affairs Support Services (PASS) was established in 1984 to help public affairs executives manage the countless tasks associated with campaign finance activities. PASS provides PAC management and PAC compliance service for organizations that are serious about campaign finance compliance, including many Fortune 500 organizations. Some of its customer require PASS to comply with their internal cyber security controls and to participate in in-depth vendor audits. Failing to pass these Security Audits could mean the loss of contracts from these major customers so having a robust cyber security program in place is critical.
Solution
SysArc had been managing the network infrastructure for PASS for several years when the cyber security compliance requirements ratcheted up for a few large customers including one of the largest Banks in the US. Based on the initial work to pass the customer audit requirements, SysArc implemented a Cyber Security Plan to include virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) services, security incident response, ongoing threat detection and analysis tools, dark web monitoring, vulnerability scanning, end-user security awareness training, two-factor authentication and security policies development.
Result
PASS’ President and Chief Executive Officer, Vinnie Tallman, says it hired SysArc with high expectations. Not only have those expectations been met but they’ve been exceeded. PASS has seen a definite decrease in downtime since it started working with SysArc. According to Tallman, the biggest advantage has been knowing that it can rely on SysArc to not only manage its network but also to benefit from the firm’s extended IT knowledge base and expertise. Over the past six months, SysArc has helped PASS enhance its network and implement additional cyber security measures. This has ultimately helped PASS adapt to client demands and become a more secure, efficient organization.
